27th Feb 1988, Middlesbrough lose 1-2 at home to promotion rivals Bradford City. The Prototype Peter Crouch aka Ian Ormondroyd (

Bradford winger John Hendrie gave the Boro defence, Cooper especially, a torrid time. He would sign for Newcastle at the end of the season before winning promotion with Leeds and then becoming Boros big signing of Summer 1990 when presumably Cooper avoided going up against him in training!
